We collect information you provide when creating an account, including your name, email address, and role (student, parent, or teacher). We also collect usage data such as learning progress, quiz scores, and interaction patterns to personalize your experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to provide and improve our AI-powered learning platform, personalize content to your learning style, track academic progress, and communicate important updates. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Protection for Children
Most of the students who use AIVICO are children. Aivi is built for schoolwork: she is instructed to stay on the syllabus, she declines requests that fall outside it, and her replies pass through our AI providers' safety filters.
A parent with a linked account can see their child's progress, reports and weekly summaries in the parent dashboard.
We do not operate an age check or a parental-consent step at sign-up today. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian to create the account and supervise its use.
4. Data Security
Traffic to AIVICO is encrypted in transit with TLS, and data is encrypted at rest by our hosting providers. We run on Supabase for the database and sign-in, and on Vercel for the application; both companies publish independent SOC 2 Type II audit reports covering their own platforms. Every table holding student data is protected by row-level security policies, so one account cannot read another account's rows.
AIVICO itself holds no security certification and does not commission external security audits today. If that changes, this page will say so.
5. Data Sharing
We do not share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared with service providers who assist in operating our platform, subject to strict confidentiality agreements.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Parents can manage their children's data through the parent dashboard. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@aivico.ai.
